Biden becomes “an example of the arrogance of power”

Biden becomes "an example of the arrogance of power"

President Biden has become – what he had once called Republicans of becoming – “an example of the arrogance of power” in an attempt to “eviscerate the Senate.”

These aren’t the words of his critics, but of Senator Biden from 2005 when the Republicans wanted to suspend the filibuster for Judicial nominations.

Biden was a defender of the filibuster when the Republicans had the majority. Later on as Vice President, he made a stunning change to his stance, and supported the Democrats’ move to end the filibuster for Judicial nominations – something he was severely against when Republicans had wanted it.

Why did he suddenly change and support a simple majority for Judicial nominations? Because President Obama would have brought in several Justices with personal liberal beliefs. Something the Left thinks would have an influence on their decisions.

Today, since the Democrats cannot pass legislation they label as “voting reforms,” Biden has fiercely attacked the filibuster which requires 60 Senate votes to pass most legislation in the Senate.

The Democrats have long shown intent to end the filibuster so that they could get both normal and their radical legislation passed without bipartisan debate and through a simple majority of 50 votes.

They desperately want to supersede the lawmaking process, and debates that eventually improve the laws. Democrats think they know it best when it comes to lawmaking. According to them, no one but else knows what Americans want and/or what’s good for America.

The filibuster is not the enemy – the Democrats have made it look like one because they are desperate.

With the Democrats only holding 51 seats, including the tie-breaker of the Vice President, it is evident as to why they are so keen to end the check on government powers and legislation passed unanimously with consensus.

Wouldn’t it be undemocratic for those in power to just catapult all of their legislation through Congress? Why is there a desperate surge in this desire to end the filibuster? Because the Democrats are in trouble.

Biden, Harris eye midterms and dump “time to heal America”

They know the midterm results might be devastating and give more seats to the Republicans.

With nothing else to sell, the strategy is now evident. To attack the filibuster and try to use the remains of the Jan. 06 riots. Target President Trump, and try to undermine the authenticity of Republican lawmakers.

The handbook for Dirty Politics 101 is out and the only strategy left is to undermine the opposition, slander their characters and – as many online put it – to use a segment of the mainstream media to confuse the masses.

This will be their objective to not only hide the Biden Administration’s countless failures, but also to reignite the Leftist support that they have lost because of those failures.

Biden is throwing a red herring. He knows the filibuster might not go anywhere, but is actively trying to divert attention from his and his Party’s failures to somehow quash the “red wave” that’s gaining momentum not because of the Republicans, but because of the failures of Democrats.

Time will tell whether the Dems succeed or not, but they will require every Democratic vote, including that of VP Harris to overturn the filibuster and finally end the debates and blockings which ultimately make the laws better while bolstering our democracy and system.

It’s only a matter of time before the Democrats support radical ideas of allowing legislation with only 10 votes – soon to turn into one vote of a dictator?

Rise Ser Joe Biden, America’s first dictator

When the Republicans said to end the filibuster for judicial nominations, the Dems and President Biden reacted strongly and defended the filibuster. When they were in power, they did the exact opposite, and are now trying to take the filibuster off of important legislation.

It is so bizarre that it doesn’t make sense. Ending the filibuster should take years of serious debate and table the concerns of all the relevant people, the lawmakers, judicial and legislative experts, and of course, the people!

You cannot and should not just bulldoze your way through everything when it comes to lawmaking. It is there for a reason, and keeps a check on the government as well as bolsters bipartisan thinking and freedom.

Let’s suppose that the Republicans are in charge after it’s gone. How would the Dems react then? It would be mayhem when the Republicans get all their laws passed without unanimous agreement and debate – the same Democrats who are against the filibuster today would then go berserk.

The filibuster is not the enemy – the Democrats have made it look like one because they are desperate.

The system needs to be reinforced in a way that both aisles of Congress agree on future legislation, not the one that is in the driver’s seat.

You wouldn’t need the legislative branch anymore if the Party that’s in power gets to make and amend laws without any debate or unanimous support – from all stakeholders – from America.
