The pathway to Commander in Chief clear for Harris?

As criticism mounts on Biden for his failure to control the migrant crisis, is the pathway to become the Commander in Chief clear for Kamala Harris?

With all eyes and knives on the President who has kept a rather quiet and sympathetic approach to everything, one person seems to be sailing through smoothly.

Even though she was criticized for the way she reacted to a question while visiting the Southern border, things quickly deescalated and her reaction was quickly overshadowed by the failures of her President.

What would happen if Biden were to be “canceled” in the future or does not run for a second term and the Democrats instead want a more powerful President. A more powerful first female President?

Well, Kamala Harris would automatically become the best suited candidate for that dream position as she would get to boast about the experience she had as VP and the decisions she took during Biden’s presidency.

No other candidate from the Democratic Party would be able to challenge this outcome in any other way than by telling the people why they deserve someone who wasn’t a part of the Biden Administration that had countless failures.

The only surefire way for Harris to lose her potential Presidential bid is if the Biden Administration fails as a whole and the blame is not put on Biden alone.

Pressure mounts on Biden

It’s just the start of Biden’s presidency and he’s already under growing pressure not only from external forces but forces from within his Party.

Rep. Alexandra Ocasio Cortez went on a rampage against President Biden for not ending the Refugee Cap set up by former President Donald Trump recently.

The Refugee Cap limited the number to 15,000. Biden had promised to take the number to a whopping 125,000 for the next fiscal year (Starting in October) and according to experts, not only is that unrealistic but it would damage the economy that is already battling the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Completely and utterly unacceptable. Biden promised to welcome immigrants, and people voted for him based on that promise.

Upholding the xenophobic and racist policies of the Trump admin, incl the historically low + plummeted refugee cap, is flat out wrong.

Keep your promise.

Rep. Alexandra Ocasio Cortez tweets a scathing attack on Biden

It did not take long for Biden to cave into the pressure. The President announced that he will now “move to lift the Trump-era refugee caps next month,” as reported by the Associated Press.

In response to this breaking news, AOC was overjoyed (like she always is whenever she gets what she wants).

This is a testament to the power that people’s movements, community advocates, & progressive coalitions have built.

Thankful for that and the Biden admin’s decision to respond to organizers today.

Now let’s get these families to their new homes here in the United States.

Alexandra Ocasio Cortez Tweeted

But what would happen if Biden stops listening to AOC and likeminded people?

The original tweet included a hidden message, it indicated to us that the minute Biden doesn’t agree with what the far-left says they will give one, and only one, warning shot.

President Biden wasn’t called racist (yet). He was just reminded that he is trekking on a dangerous path that will eventually lead him to that declaration. If he doesn’t stop what he’s doing then he will be racist and xenophobic.

Knowing what was coming, the President surrendered without thinking twice what his decision would cost.

Rep. Alexandra Ocasio Cortez is a life-sized depiction of the way the far-left thinks and processes. You keep on fulfilling their demands and they’re your best friend, but the minute you disagree they become your worst enemy.

Earlier, their opponent was Donald Trump, who did not for one second even think of bowing down to their pressure, but that reality has changed as their current opponent is Joe Biden who is on a tightrope trying to balance himself between what he wants and what the far-left wants.

Biden may get two or three chances throughout his Presidency to disobey the woke and extreme-left and successfully implement what he wants, but post that, the roads will be closed and there will be daily and regular attacks synonymous with calls for his resignation and for Harris to take over.

The way Rep. Ocasio Cortez reacted on the Refugee Cap issue is a slight dazzle of what’s to come if Biden ‘betrays’ the woke and extreme-left.

A minor delay almost led to him being called a Xenophobe.

Kamala Harris’ potential political gains

In matters like these, whether she is aware or not, Kamala Harris truly benefits. The more controversial Biden gets, the more way Harris makes to the Presidency.

Today, the smartest move the Republicans could make out of all this is to target and expose the Administration’s flaws as a whole instead of Biden alone. Expose the failures of the Biden Administration, instead of Biden alone.

This might sound harsh but it is sadly the truth. President Biden is a weak President who, like it or not, is being controlled one way or another by the people in his Party to make him align to what they desire.

He did get the maximum support from the Democratic Party, but that massive support was to beat President Trump. The goal wasn’t to make Biden win but to defeat Trump. This isn’t a theory, this was what we were told by the Democrat front-runners, that no matter what, they need to beat Trump.

'Even if Bernie Sanders loses the nomination, the Berniebros, Klobuchar supporters, Harris supporters, Warren supporters, Buttigieg supporters, must support Biden.'

Now that the former President is temporarily out of the way, the Democrats want a President that can fast-forward the policies and extreme ideas of the woke and extreme-left.

So far, President Biden has been hesitant and has shown that he’s optimistic about working with the Republicans. We are however, to see how long that optimism and hesitancy will continue as the pressure on him from within his Party mounts.

One thing is clear, wherever Biden loses. Kamala gains, and the pathway to Commander in Chief is clear for her.

This is an opinion piece.
