Two hospital nurses killed in Texas by suspect on ankle monitor

Two hospital nurses were killed in a shooting in Dallas, Texas by a suspect on an ankle monitor. The suspect has been arrested.

The shooting occurred at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center on Saturday. The Methodist Health System Police were alerted around 11AM and Dallas Police along with the Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the situation.

Two nurses were found dead near the labor area of the Hospital by authorities. According to reports, both the nurses worked at the maternity ward.

Methodist Health System Police officer shot and injured the suspect, Nestor Hernandez. The 30-year-old is in for capital murder.

According to Dallas Police, Hernandez was out on parole for aggravated robbery with an ankle monitor that he was wearing at the time of the shooting.

Hernandez has been shifted to another hospital for treatment before he can be presented to a court.
