Israeli troops repel attack, kill 3 armed Palestinian militants

Israeli troops have successfully repelled an armed attack near Jenin by killing all three terrorists involved, according to Israeli Police.

The armed Palestinians were in a car, on their way to carry out an attack on Friday. The Israeli Security Forces retaliated after the terrorists fired at them during an attempted arrest.

Four Israeli troops were injured in the attack, one in serious condition. The Islamic Jihad terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

It comes amid growing unrest and during a spike of similar attacks. Israel has vowed to respond “forcefully” against any attack on its citizens.

Israel has seen a rise in knife attacks, and today it has successfully stopped a gun attack that could have been deadly and led to a string of attacks that might have led to another war.
