Update (at least five people have been killed)

It is now confirmed that at least five people have died, with five injured in this Russian missile attack. Unconfirmed reports had earlier revealed that four people had died.

A projectile was seen hitting the tower, followed by two more explosions nearby.

Since the TV tower was struck directly as well, concerns are now being raised over its stability. The tower could fall at any time.

Footage posted online shows burned remains lying on the site of the bombings.

Women are reported to be among the victims of this brazen attack.

Unconfirmed reports reveal that at least 4 people have died in the attack, with at least five injured.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed that those were indeed military strikes targeting the country’s television and information network.

The country’s backup channels will now be LIVE while the original channels are restored.

Russia is still to target the country’s ISPs and information hubs as signaled in an earlier warning.

An explosion has been reported near Kyiv’s TV Tower right after Russia’s Defense Ministry told residents to evacuate areas near the City’s Internet Service Providers and Information hubs.

It is unclear whether anyone was hurt or if the tower was struck directly.

Ukrainian officials had denounced the warning as mere disinformation.
