Cause of Colorado fire being investigated; at least three missing

by News Desk January 2, 2022

Investigators are looking for the cause of the Colorado fire in a suburban area that has destroyed about a thousand homes and injured 7 people.

At least three people are reportedly missing. Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle said authorities have been given intel and a search warrant has been issued for one location.

The mainstream media was quick to blame climate change for this but authorities so far are leaving no possibility behind. No evidence of a suspected arson has been found but it isn’t being ruled out.

The wildfire has come unusually late in the year and authorities are leaving no possibility behind. Experts believe that the dry conditions helped the fire rage on.

Streets were blocked off by the National Guard after a State of Emergency was declared. Residents are starting to return back to their homes only to find nothing.

Volunteers are helping distribute food and clean drinking water, as well as heaters to the survivors – while crews are busy restoring power and gas lines to the affected areas.

Those who still have their houses are without power and gas, ultimately without a working heating system in such cold conditions.

Entire neighborhoods have been destroyed by this fire and residents are unable to recognize where they have lived their entire lives, spent their childhood and watched their kids grow up.

Apart from arson, downed power cables because of severe winds are also being seen as a cause behind this vast fire.
