Chinese social media “users” on its state-controlled platforms are going after Elon Musk for “trying to destroy” the Chinese space station.

China complained to the UN space agency about two alleged close encounters with Starlink satellites. The alleged encounters occurred in July and October, and the Chinese space station took “preventive measures” to avoid any collisions.

As soon as the complaint went public, China’s social media bots and users went after Musk for “being a tool of the US military.” For creating “space junk” to fight against China’s harmonious space station.

Many online Chinese bots/paid accounts and users accused Musk of being a weapon of the US government to attack China. Some even went on to say that the “human race would pay” for this.

As more and more satellites are being launched, the chances for collisions are increasing, and scientists have long warned about the increased odds.

The only way to counter any untoward incident is if World governments share data with each other and collectively begin cleanup efforts.

Starlink is SpaceX’s satellite internet service network, and Chinese attacks come as the CCP extends its regulatory crackdown on Chinese companies, and tightens its domestic markets for foreigners.
