A father and his two sons have died after a house erupted inside a Pennsylvania home on Christmas morning.

The fire erupted at around 1:20AM on Saturday in a Quakertown, Pennsylvania house. Eric King, and his two sons Liam and Patrick lost their lives while Kristin King and the oldest son Brady managed to survive.

By the time firefighters arrived, it was already too late as fire had already swallowed the entire house. Both the survivors were treated for smoke inhalation at a local Hospital.

The fire is suspected to have started by the Christmas tree’s lighting – authorities however, are still waiting for the investigation to conclude – and experts have always advised to make sure none of the wiring is short or the tree is too dry once it is set up.

As the lights can get extremely hot, they tend to melt the wiring and/or burn the wood. If the wood is too dry then a fire soon starts.

A GoFundMe was made for the King family. The target was $20,000 which was quickly reached as kind souls have so far pledged about $346,735 for the family.
