Woke Chinese go after Chinese photographer for “small eyes” Dior picture

by News Desk November 24, 2021

China’s online army has attacked a Chinese photographer for depicting “Chinese eyes” in a Dior picture.

Photographer Chen Man, 41, has since apologized for her “ignorance.” She depicted an Asian woman in a picture, which Chinese internet users did not like for some reason.

China has long promoted its online users to talk harsh and attack the Western culture and everything from the West for bonus social credit points.

Since nationalism is being promoted in China, people are going crazy and are intentionally using their race to coerce other races to agree with whatever they say.

Dior has since removed the picture which was recently displayed at a Shanghai exhibition on November 12. In a statement on a Chinese state-controlled website Weibo, it said that it “respects the sentiments of the Chinese people.”

China’s desperation for “skin paint” and “big eyes”

Chinese consider a lighter skin tone and large eyes as true beauty. Which is why most Chinese filters make their eyes look bigger, and actors with “bigger” eyes and lighter skin tones are mostly chosen.

Double eyelid, and plastic surgery are at an all time high in China. Women prefer getting their skin cut to make their eyes look bigger and be loved on TikTok and other video-sharing platforms.

Mothers recommend various surgeries to their daughters so that they can get a decent husband. Almost all Chinese women online who make videos have had plastic, or double eyelid surgeries.

All at the same time, “fair skin beauty creams” or “snow white creams,” and injections are EXTREMELY popular as well, but only those that add a layer of white to the skin like a fresh coat of paint.

Today, you might never be able to find a Chinese woman who does not use such artificial, chemical-laden “skin brighteners.”

Ways to determine whether the skin has a brightener plastered to it, is to look for an unrealistic dead white color which looks like a coat of paint. The skin looks unrealistically pale and Celtic white, but at the same time is also very out of place. Or as some users online rather outrageously put it, to look at the skin after a bath (no offense).

Of course this should not matter, but they still do it.

The Chinese used the race card, but failed

China’s state-controlled propaganda channels like always encouraged bullying by stoking nationalism, and made its nationals use the race card, or in this case go in denial mode and bully another Chinese who depicted her people in a natural way.

Propaganda channels were quick to call out the model for having “evil eyes.” Chinese state-controlled propaganda hive Global Times said Dior’s response to the outcry was “rejected” by the “Chinese netizens.”

The Chinese claimed to have once again been wrongly portrayed by the West, of being shown to have “small eyes.”

We sincerely don’t understand what the problem is? Maybe they want the West to cast actors/models of other races?

China is cashing in on the race card, and wants to force others to wrongly depict the Chinese people. How dare an independent Chinese artist depict the Chinese people the way they are and look!

This is another example of how authoritarian not only the Chinese government is but also the average Chinese with its insecurities.
