One dead, four injured by active shooter in Jerusalem

Israel on high alert as Hamas says the attack was in retaliation to “attempts made to desecrate Al-Aqsa mosque.”

The gunman was a 42-year-old Palestinian. He was described as a Hamas leader of a refugee camp stationed in Israel.
The terrorist used a Beretta M12 SMG to conduct the attack. Two Police officers were also injured in the incident.

At least one person has died, with four others injured in an active shooting incident in Jerusalem’s Old City.
A 35-year-old man has died after suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Hospital officials. Another person’s injuries have been described as serious.
The suspect who was using an automatic weapon was shot dead by Police. The incident comes as attacks on Israelis have spiked recently.
It isn’t clear whether it will be followed by more retaliatory attacks.
