One dead, three injured in shooting at California councilmember’s home
At least one person has died and three others injured in a shooting at a Northern California city councilmember’s home. Two of the three injured are in serious condition.
The incident occurred after midnight on Monday night, early on Saturday morning, according to reports. A fight broke out during a party at the Las Animas Avenue home of Gilroy councilmember Rebeca Armendariz.
The councilmember and her family are safe. It’s unclear whether she was present at the party at the time of the shooting. She is now cooperating with the Police and has declined to give away any information until the investigation finishes.
A suspect had fired a gun that resulted in one death and injured three others, according to the Police. None of the victims have been publicly identified. It is unclear whether Police have arrested anyone in relation to the case.
