Judge temporarily blocks Heartbeat Act in Texas

A federal judge has blocked Texas’ Heartbeat Act that prohibits women from having an abortion after six weeks of pregnancy.

District Judge Robert Pitman authorized a request by the Biden Administration to restrict the implementation of the law until its legality is being challenged.

The White House has welcomed the move, calling it an important step to restore women’s rights in Texas.

Texas lawmakers had approved the bill which came into effect since September 01. The bill has faced criticism from the Left and women’s rights activists who accuse it of violating the precedent set by Roe v. Wade.

In his remarks, Justice Pitman criticized the law. Saying that it “unlawfully” prevents women from exercising their Constitutional rights.

He also said that other courts may come to a different conclusion. His court however, will not allow this “offensive deprivation” to carry on.

Texas lawmakers and government, voted by the people have faced their first setback since the approval in September.

It’s Texas v. The White House once again. The state is all set to challenge the ruling.

The Biden Administration has been a vocal critic of the law. Challenged it in the courts after the Supreme Court ruled against an injunction.

The Left and media tried to politicize the Supreme court by highlighting the personal beliefs of the justices. They even wanted President Biden to “pack the court,” in order to get more “suitable” justices.

The Left and media have long labelled or accused the justices of either being liberal or conservative. This may be the case in their personal lives, but their decisions can in no way be influenced by their personal beliefs.

They are well aware of their grandeur responsibilities, and as laymen to even suspect their intentions might be in contempt.
