Pregnant woman found dead in Florida park

The dead body of a woman due to give birth was found on Saturday in Jacksonville’s Riverview Park.

Authorities are investigating the death of Felicia Jones, 21, who was found by a passerby at 6:30AM.

The friends and family of the victim are devastated by the incident. Ms. Jones was expecting a baby boy on October 08, she was nine months pregnant.

Her cause of death is yet to be determined but investigators are treating it as a crime.

Update:

Felicia Jones was shot dead by the father of her would be child, 19-year-old Reginald Perry.

Perry has since been arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree murder. Jones’ family believe both of them were still in a relationship when she was murdered.
