Heavy rains and a tornado hit New Jersey

Flash flood warnings for a large part of northern New Jersey have been extended till 3AM as rain continues to fall.

The mayor of Passaic, New Jersey has also declared a state of emergency due to the deadly flooding.

Bodies are being found in the water according to the mayor as he urged people to shut down all businesses and restaurants.

Trenton, New Jersey has also asked a part of its residents to evacuate by 8AM as the floodwaters are rising by the minute.

Apart from Atlantic city, all of New Jersey’s rail services have also been suspended.

Apart from the flooding, a tornado has also damaged several homes in a New Jersey county.
