Afghanistan: Videos highlight dire situation at Kabul airport
Videos shared on social media websites show hundreds of Afghans storm the runway in a bid to stop a United States C-17 plane from taking off. While trying to board it and cling onto the aircraft many Afghans were seen being pushed off or crushed by it in the process.
Another video that surfaced online shows two people falling off of the C-17 aircraft. Resulting in their deaths.

Hundreds of Afghans had already stormed the airfield and the US troops were busy monitoring the security situation while the embassy staff boarded their respective flights. It was hard to differentiate between civilians and militants as the Afghans had broken the gates and barriers in order to get through and flood the tarmac.
The situation at the airfield is unfortunate as hundreds of Afghans are in hope of being airlifted out of Afghanistan, but no one can guarantee them their freedom after their own men dropped arms and their leader fled the country along with top government officials.
Although, the US and allies would be blamed for this chaotic withdrawal, it was to come sooner or later and it was quite late already. With the Afghan army unwilling to bear arms to protect their “national” image the country was to fall and a takeover was to be facilitated.
Earlier today, US troops had to resort to firing at two armed men who were trying to get close to American citizens. Resulting in a stampede that killed two people.
The chaos that we are seeing took the Taliban 10 days to institute. City after city fell, with Afghan soldiers having no will to fight and instead dropped arms, either fleeing to nearby countries or join the Taliban.
The Afghan government had no strategy and abandoned its own people in the end with all the blame for the foreign forces to take, and for the World to always be haunted by this footage.
