Calif. – On June 28, 2019

Republican gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner went to the US-Mexico border in San Diego County on Friday. There she met with border patrol agents and vowed to “ensure all of our law enforcement and border patrol needs are met.” She further stated the need to “secure our border” and said is “grateful” for the men and women who risk their lives everyday.

Jenner, one of the numerous Republicans challenging present California Gov. Gavin Newsom in a recall election later this year, journeyed to the border with the authorities a month before voters decide and though lagging far behind Republican frontrunner and Conservative talk show host Larry Elder, Jenner is still hopeful of a win.

In a tweet she shared a video showing illegals allegedly crossing the border. “At border now and people illegally entering! As governor I will finish the wall with state funds!” she said in the tweet.

The recall election is to commence on September 14 and the candidate with the most votes will replace Gov. Newsom if the vote count for his removal crosses 50%.
