Atlanta shooting leaves 1 person dead; multiple injured

A shooting in Atlanta on Saturday after a fight has left 1 person dead, with multiple people injured.

At least 5 people were injured in the shooting near Atlantic Station in northwestern Atlanta, Georgia, according to Police. The victim was a male and the suspected shooter also died on scene.

The incident occurred around 8PM after off-duty Police officers removed a group of “juveniles” from Atlantic Station for violating the 3PM curfew and being “unruly.”

A dispute between teens and young adults after the removal is being seen as the reason behind the shooting. The people involved were aged between 15 to 21, according to Atlanta Police.

Authorities suspect there were two shooters at the scene of the crime and the dispute involved two groups. No arrests have so far been made and the incident is under investigation.
