A Los Angeles teen was run over and killed on purpose by two cars outside a party venue on Sunday morning.

Police are looking for the suspects who were involved in a physical dispute with the victim, 17-year-old Matthew Lobos.

Lobos was at an underground party in a Florence, Los Angeles warehouse where he had a physical dispute with the suspects. The suspects, according to the LAPD, then got into a black SUV right after the dispute and rushed towards Lobos’ direction.

One of the suspects then exited the black SUV and entered a white Acura before running Lobos over. According to Police, the black SUV struck Lobos as well.

Being struck for the second time, Lobos’ friend tried to drag him off the street before he was struck again by the white Acura which then hit a light pole with the driver jumping back into the black SUV to flee.

Matthew Lobos was pronounced dead on scene and the LAPD is investigating if a gang was involved in this killing. Lobos’ family has clarified the teen was not a gang member.

A GoFundMe has been set up for the Los Angeles teen by his aunt to support Lobos’ mother.

The LAPD is investigating the incident and are urging witnesses to come out with any information in relation to the two suspects, their vehicles. Contact LA’s Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
