Florida couple charged after toddler thrown against wall dies
A Florida couple has been charged with the murder of a toddler that was in their care and died after it was thrown against a wall.
Monica Williams, 33, and Daquan Lindsey, 25, were arrested by St. Petersburg Police Department, Tampa arrested the couple and charged them with the murder of 3-year-old Brandy Crews who was in their care.
Police were alerted after the toddler was hospitalized on August 09 for being “pulseless.” According to authorities, the couple was the child’s caregivers.
Doctors managed to revive Brandy but with no luck as she had no brain activity and was pronounced dead three days later.
Grim discoveries were made by the Police as Brandy was found with fractures, burns and cuts. Her whole body was filled with “hundreds of small scars,” according to the Police.
Suspect Monica Williams has confessed to the Police that she saw her partner beat the child with a belt “countless” times in the past.

She confessed that the child’s hands and feet were tied together with shoelaces during the merciless beatings.
Both have confessed that Lindsey threw the baby against the wall. The couple had another child in their care, he is suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Police.
Both, Williams and Lindsey, now face charges of murder, child abuse, and child neglect.
