Georgia gun range owner and his family murdered

A Georgia gun range owner and his family (wife and grandson) were murdered on Friday during a robbery, according to authorities.

The Grantville Police Department told that the shooting occurred on Friday. Officers arrived on scene around 8PM and found the owner of Lock Stock & Barrel Shooting dead along with his wife and grandson.

The robbers took around 40 weapons and a security camera recorder with them.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the incident. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has also commenced its investigation considering the number of weapons that were stolen.

Police are actively looking for witnesses.

“Anyone having driven by the shooting range during the time frame of 5:30PM to 6:30PM that may have seen vehicles other than a white Ford dually truck and a black Ford expedition are asked to contact the police department,” Grantville Police said in a statement.

The ATF announced a reward of up to $15,000 for citizens with vital information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrators.

The robbers killed owner Thomas Richard Hawk Sr, 71, his wife Evelyn Hawk and grandson Luke Hawk, 19, in the horrific triple homicide.
