Woman drops sex assault lawsuit against Snoop Dogg
A sexual assault lawsuit filed by an unidentified woman against rapper Snoop Dogg has been dropped.
The woman who identified herself in the lawsuit as “Jane Doe” had accused Snoop of sexually assaulting her at a 2013 concert.
Snoop Dogg’s legal representatives have welcomed the withdrawal and dismissed the allegations as false.
The suit was filed in a California District Court days before the rapper was set to perform at the Super Bowl. All others mentioned in the suit have also been cleared.
The unidentified woman had claimed that she was left “terrified” after the alleged incident that according to her occurred in a bathroom.
She had claimed that during a 2013 concert, Snoop forced his way into the toilet when she was feeling unwell and masturbated in front of her while forcing her to perform oral sex.
Her legal representative is yet to publicly react to the news of the withdrawal. She was said to have worked with Snoop Dogg, a claim which the rapper has always denied.
