Hundreds of Ukrainians dead as Russia invades Ukraine

by News Desk February 24, 2022

Hundreds of Ukrainians, both citizens and soldiers have died after Russia launched a massive invasion and bombing of Ukraine.

Ukraine was attacked from all sides after weeks of Russian denial that it was never going to invade. Russia has arrested thousands of Russian demonstrators all across the country who were chanting against the war started only because of Putin’s ego and ambitions for another Soviet Union.

US officials had correctly assessed and predicted the invasion – to counter the truth, Russia launched a short-lived propaganda campaign labeling the intel reports as “western propaganda” but ended up exposing its disinformation campaign and true ambitions.

It has been reported that Ukrainian troops are defending their country with resolve as Russia tries to get control of their airfields. Even the site of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster isn’t safe from Russian occupation – Russian troops have taken control of that too after some fighting.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly said that he is target Number 1 and his family might also be targeted by the Russians.

Now that the jig is up and the Russian lies have been exposed by Russian actions, Putin has said he had no other choice to “defend” Russia.

As the war rages on, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have been forced to flee their homes and towns. Russia has been busy bombing Ukrainian cities and ports miles away from the regions that border Russia.
