Connecticut teacher pulled tween’s hair; arrested

A Connecticut teacher has been arrested after she allegedly pulled a 12-year-old student’s hair in class.

49-year-old Jennifer Wells-Jackson who teaches at the King-Robinson Inter-District Magnet School in New Haven, Connecticut now faces charges of second-degree breach of peace, and risk of injury to a minor.

The viral video allegedly shows Jennifer pulling the child’s hair, making them tilt to one side before letting them go. Wells-Jackson was arrested by Police and has since been released on a $20,000 bond.

The school and district is actively cooperating with New Haven Police Department’s investigation. At this point, it isn’t clear what caused the incident.
