Eighth child dies at the Hospital after being rescued. Authorities adjust the number of victims to 12 from 13.

At least thirteen twelve people, including 7 children have died.

The building had four smoke detectors, but none went off. About 30 people were inside the three-story rowhouse at the time of the fire.

Over 10 people are feared dead after a fire ripped through a rowhouse in Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out on the second floor of a three-story rowhouse in North Philadelphia. Several kids are feared to be among the long list of victims.

The Fire Department responded to the incident at around 6:40AM. It took them about an hour to control the blaze.

The incident has been called “fatal.” Authorities are yet to release the names of the victims and the official death toll.

The Philadelphia Fire Department will hold a news conference near the scene.
