27 Airmen discharged for not getting vaccinated
The Air Force has discharged 27 active-duty airmen for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
The airmen were all young adults and were in their first enlistments, or in others words, served for less than 6 years. They did not serve long enough to get a hearing before being discharged.
About 97% of active-duty Air Force and Space Force members have followed August’s Vaccination orders set by Defense Secretary Austin Lloyd, according to the Department of Air Force.
Officers were given until November 02 to get vaccinated. Thousands have reportedly refused or showed an exemption.
Vaccine mandates have been a controversial subject among those serving in the Air Force and Military.
Countless active-duty personnel have refused to get the vaccine which is resulting in their termination. Ultimately giving America’s adversaries an advantage and boosted morale.
