Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen met with a group of US lawmakers who had traveled there in an unannounced trip to declare that the US stands with Taiwan.

The group of lawmakers had reported that China’s embassy was issuing threats to them, “demanding” that they cancel the trip.

Representative Nancy Mace tweeted that they had “a productive and meaningful visit throughout the Indo-Pacific region as the first bipartisan US House delegation since the start of COVID.”

“This is just the start,” she concluded in the tweet.

China hurled threats the minute it learned that the lawmakers are be heading to Taiwan.

Representative Elissa Slotkin tweeted.

Rep. Slotkin added that she too received “a blunt message” from the Chinese embassy, telling her to call off the trip.

A total of five House representatives met with Taiwanese President Tsai to reassure her that America stands with her country.

Taiwan considers itself to be an independent state, but China sees it as a breakaway province, and threatens to invade the island that has always governed itself and thrives for democracy.

A CCP-controlled Beijing’s spokesperson in the typical undiplomatic fashion, or the very Chinese way responded by saying that the US lawmakers challenged the “one-China policy,” and angered “1.4 billion Chinese people” by meeting with President Tsai.

Since the past few months, China has started with a new tactic in its typical statements. It now mentions its population in a bid to try and scare anyone that goes against its tyranny.

It believes that by quoting the number of its population, it can scare the US and the rest of the World from exercising their fundamental rights.

If “1.4 billion” Chinese are angry, then the 1.4 billion Chinese should learn to respect the human rights of the people of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the entire World.

The visit of the five Democratic lawmakers comes just weeks after the visit by six Republicans. A clear message has been sent to China by both, Taiwan, and the United States.

President Tsai has said that her country “will continue to step up cooperation with the US to uphold our shared values of democracy and freedom.”

The visit by Republicans a few weeks ago, and Democrats today declares that the US stands with Taiwan, and is united when it comes to helping Taiwan, and combating CCP-controlled Beijing’s cruelty, and bullying/coercion of its neighbors and the entire World.
