Biden, Pelosi left dangling by Far-Left as bipartisan infrastructure bill delayed

The Bipartisan Infrastructure bill has been delayed as progressives demand more “diverse” spending on climate change.

For years, the Democratic Party has catered to the Far-Left. Supporting and promising whatever they asked for, and now all that has once again backfired.

The Democrats are officially without a backbone as the Party fights to reach a midground that appeases both, the progressives wanting to put America further in debt, and the moderates looking to spend less and on vital areas.

Nancy Pelosi, if not the sitting Democratic president, had always managed to keep the Dems together and it was mostly the moderates making the sacrifice while the progressives got what they wanted.

Now, with even Pelosi trying to shut the far-Left up, things have taken turn for the worse.

Biden’s frontline bipartisan infrastructure bill, expected to be the highlight of his presidency has been delayed.

Not because of the Republicans but because of the infighting within the Democratic Party.

The far-Left is showing Pelosi, that she is no longer in control. The mistrust between the moderates and progressives is growing.

Neither side is willing to listen, and even after the immense pressure from speaker Nancy Pelosi, the lawmakers refused to pass the bill.

The bipartisan infrastructure bill which Biden hoped would unite both sides of the legislative branch is being sabotaged by progressives.

The moderates want to scale the spending back a little, but the progressives are trying to use their votes to blackmail the rest of the Party to comply with another hefty spending bill.

A whopping $3.5tn package for “social programs” and climate change, that is touted to be “wonderful” until the money lasts but ultimately putting the taxpayer in more debt.

Large spending on areas (that the progressives love) with no return would put the taxpayer under more pressure and may even have the US default in October if Congress doesn’t raise the soaring debt limit by another trillions of dollars.

After countless last minute attempts, the Democratic Party failed to reach a consensus and the progressives inserted the knife.

For the far-Left, it isn’t them who are backstabbing the Party, but the other way around. They are now seeing the moderates as the mortal enemy creating “roadblocks” for the progressives to get their agenda passed while the Dems have the majority.

Getting the majority in the House and Senate was a dream come true for the progressives, thinking they will finally be able to insert their agenda everywhere throughout the country, but some in their Party still have a functioning brain and the forever quiet moderates who made the ultimate sacrifice up till now are finally speaking up.

At the end of the last-ditch efforts to get the bipartisan bill passed, moderates once again showed to have a big heart and opened up to an arrangement.

Some moderates, Senate Majority leader Schumer and White House officials were then busy trying to convince the progressives, but the far-Left wing of the Party showed them who’s in control and refused to budge.

For the Democrats and speaker Pelosi, it is the appeasement of the far-Left, the “Yes, of course” that is coming back to haunt them.

For years, the Party has said “Yes” to everything the progressives wanted, and after being spoiled, the progressives will never take No for an answer.

Although, a government shutdown was averted till December. Experts worry that cracks will further deepen in the Democratic Party that has been left reeling by the various crises birthed by the Biden Administration.

As the bipartisan $1tn infrastructure bill that was passed by the Senate in August was to heal America, and finally show that both sides of the House and Senate are united. The infighting within the Democratic Party is ruining everything while the Republicans quietly spectate.

America needs the money to rebuild its aging infrastructure, but the progressives are unwilling to listen and want monry to be put into things that bring no return to support the taxpayer.

If the progressives get what they want, then the taxpayers would be paying for generations before the debt accumulated by the wild spending is paid.

The path forward is extremely uncertain but it will decide the fate of the Democratic Party. Whether they stay moderate or go far-Left.

The Party may no longer remain in the middle and finally slip to the far-Left. It can no longer try to leverage and make the moderates make the ultimate sacrifice.

If the moderates secede yet again then the Party might be in the complete control of the far-Left for the next few decades.

As for President Biden, his administration is finally dealing with a crisis it did not create. Maybe it did?
