China to minimize abortions for “non-medical purposes”
China is seeking to reduce the number of abortions for “non-medical purposes,” the Chinese announced on Monday.
The “State Council’s” new guidelines listed “reduce non-medical abortions” under the section regarding improvement of women’s reproductive health.
The council also said the action would also be taken to avoid unwanted pregnancies and to encourage men to “share responsibility” in preventing them.
This is another attempt of the communist state to increase its dwindling population numbers affected by its “one child policy.”
After decades of trying to limit the country’s population by enforcing initiatives like “one child policy,” China is now encouraging its people to have larger families.
The one child policy was abolished in October 2015 – Enabling families to have two children with the new “two child policy,” starting from January 2016.
Recently, Beijing further extended it by announcing a “three child policy” on May 31, 2021.
As the current labor is ageing, China is seeking to produce newer and younger labor to maintain its economy.
The move also takes China’s declining birthrate into consideration.
Despite being the World’s most populous nation, the country’s most recent census reveals that the population growth from 2011 to 2020 was the slowest since the 1950s.
China’s new nationalist propaganda army
China is worried that without younger people, its economy would further crumble and may initiate another famine in the next 50 years.
Just like today with “eliminated and uplifted all the people from poverty.” Beijing decades earlier, had its closest allies tout its one child policy as a savior of China and humanity, but the move today is considered a total failure.
