Biden announces Vaccine mandates

by News Desk September 9, 2021

President Joe Biden has announced that companies with over a 100 employees will need to make COVID vaccination mandatory or test employees weekly (So that they are left with super-sized nostrils).

The declaration will affect about a 100 million Americans. Companies will be required to pay for the testing but the cost can pass onto the workers.

Biden is also signing an executive order that prohibits the federal government from working with unvaccinated employees in the executive branch, and contractors doing business with the federal government.

Airline passengers will be fined if they refuse to wear masks and people would be fined if caught violating CDC guidelines on federal property.

Federal Head Start program staff members are also required to get vaccinated and Biden will also urge governors to impose vaccine mandates on schoolteachers.

Businesses may face fines of over $10,000 (per violation) for failing to comply with the mandate.

Fines of thousands of dollars (per employee) would also be imposed if businesses are caught having unvaccinated workers.

Biden has also announced to go after the states that do not comply with the mandates.

He has also pledged to donate 500m Pfizer vaccines to 100 lower-income countries.

The President did not take any questions.
