Afghanistan: Protests held in Jalalabad

Videos surfacing on social media are showing protests being conducted in the Afghan city of Jalalabad demanding the Taliban not replace the Afghanistan flag with the Taliban flag.

Protests were held in other areas as well and the Taliban resorted to aerial firing to disperse the crowds. No injuries were reported.

Some women had also protested for their rights earlier on Tuesday and were seen confronted by some Taliban fighters. It is unclear what happened to them.
